Highly recommend Positive: Loved the location it was so peaceful

Great potential, but lacking in details! Positive: A beautiful apartment, lovely furnishings. Loved the balcony, wished the side wall was lower to see the sea view better. The towels were excellent and plentiful. Comfortable bed and good quality sheets. Free parking. Negative: Strange arrangements for check in, including £100 bond against damage and ID driving licence. I have never been asked this anywhere else for hotels or AirBnb type of holiday, and I book frequently! No ventilation apart from opening the patio door to balcony - in heavy rain we had to keep it closed to stop rain coming in! And no way of fastening it to stop it swinging in the wind! Just needs a hook or two. Could cause injury or damage (and I got wet trying to close it). Lack of ventilation should have been a Planning Regulation! The shower - no working thermostat. The water starts cold then gets hotter and hotter as it comes from the boiler. The water was so hot I couldn't bear it! The mixer thermostat should mix cold and hot. It doesn't. Metal tab missing on the shower control. We complained on first day and after waiting around for a couple of hours when we were planning to go out, a housekeeper arrived and tried to tell us we didn't understand shower mixers! I dont think so! Again, a Health and Safety issue. The restaurant was closed Mon and Tues. On Wed the kitchen staff arrived, loud chats and music all afternoon while we were in, then noise from restaurant in the evening. We had actually been down to eat, it didn't seem overly noisy so why so noisy upstairs ? Must have poor sound insulation? Planning Regs again? A minor point - lighting is poor near TV area. Could do with a table lamp. A couple of cereal bowls and spoons for breakfast would have been nice. The fridge slides around when you try to open the door. Needs fastening down.

Positive: Perfect place for relaxing weekend, close to front and pier with sea views . Silures restaurant on site was very good. Sid’s restaurant was very good for brunch, right on promenade . Negative: No hand held shower and small shower enclosure , not easy keeping hair dry !!

Not as described Positive: Lovely room but NOT self catering. Nice location. Negative: Noisy as bar below had a party, This is not self catering. 3 glasses and 3 mugs is not enough. No crockery or cutlery. Mugs had to be washed in bathroom. No cooking facilities not even a toaster. The accommodation is over a restaurant not connected to the accommodation. Therefore it was very noisy. No refund was offered because of thus, very disappointed.

We was left very disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, it was dirty and dusty, cobwebs the fridge did not work it Positive: Location Negative: It was dirty.
