The Perfect Cardiff Home for a Busy Professional

Positive: The proximity to all tourist locations and the facilities around. Negative: There was smell of stale food throughout our stay of 2 nights. Staff was supportive that i received a call and assured that they didnt smell anything but we did all the way through. Unfortunately there was no other apartment available. Having stayed in other serviced apartments we have been offered the ground floor or first floor as we have a toddler without us asking for it but due to some reason we were not offered ( though nobody is obligated to offer but we felt more looked after wiith others). All in all not a bad experience but not great either.

It was a decent experience overall. Positive: Location, ease of check in, space Negative: The frequency of cleaning. We were there for 13 nights but they didnt provide any mid stay cleaning.

Perfect, exactly what it says on the tin and more! Thanks for having us!! Positive: Clean, tidy and had everything needed to stay! The boss man was super accommodating, we got to Cardiff earlier than expected and he allowed us to put our bags in the apartment. 100% I’ll be using Oakfield again! As well as telling everyone I know to do so too! Don’t think I’d stay anywhere else when I’m in Cardiff again anymore! Negative: There is nothing not to like!

Fantastic Location, well thought through. Now it needs managing better. Positive: Potential to be a very good flat Negative: Had to contact the owners 3 times due to microwave, TV and other items not working.

Won't stay again if security deposit is insisted. Positive: Quite place around peaceful lane Helpful owner Negative: 1) Biggest disappointment is need for security deposit of 250 Pounds ?? Why so. The place has no treasure to be insecure 2) Initial hassels during check-in to get security code for main and apartment door from owner. Issue of security deposit 3) The photographs look far more beautiful than the actual property (though not bad) 4) Area around looks lonely after 8PM and is not very comforting to walk alone (though may be safe)
